In Short
I am a Research Scientist for Georgia Tech's Academic & Research Technologies (ART), of the OIT.
I received my Ph.D. degree (Dec., 2011) in the Department of Computer Science, Virginia Tech. My co-advisors were Dr. Calvin J. Ribbens and Dr. Godmar Back. My research mainly focused on improving performance of sparse computation kernels that dominate most iterative solvers. Before my graduation, I was a GRA for the ARC@VT, and worked as a consultant for Virginia Tech's System X Supercomputer and several other systems.
I have two M.Sc. degrees. One in Computational Sciences and Engineering program at Informatics Institute, Istanbul Technical University, and another in Ocean Engineering program at Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Istanbul Technical University.
